Cultivate
1.Cultivated genotypes group, which is distinguished by morphological, physiological, cytological, biochemical, or other related groups of the same species, and that, when multiplied by sexual or asexual ways, maintains its distinctive features. Cultivate is a synonym for variety. Since cultivation is a neologism, the gender of the entry is set by the Brazilian Academy of Letters, which determined that it is female. It is common practice, however, to use the term in the male gender. The cultivation/farming is the lowest taxonomic category for names recognized by the International Code of Nomenclature for Cultivated Plants.
2.a variety of any higher vegetable kind or species that is clearly distinguishable from other cultivations/farmings known as narrowly descriptors, by its own designation, which is homogeneous and stable as the descriptors throughout successive generations and that species capable of use by the forestry complex, described in specialized literature available and accessible to the public, as well as lineage component hybrids.
