Gametophytic apomixis

The formation of agamic seed (asexual) in which the embryo sac originates from a synergistic or antipode and parthenogenetic development occurs the egg cell. The offspring is the maternal type. The gametophytic apomixis includes the aposporia and diplosporia.[1]
