Ecological corridors

Portions of semi-natural ecosystems, linking protected areas, among them that allow gene flow and movement of biota, facilitating the dispersion of species and recolonization of degraded areas, as well as the maintenance of populations that demand for their survival areas with extension higher than that of the individual units.
