CPATC stands for Embrapa Tabuleiros Costeiros Embrapa Coastal Tablelands. Its mission is to enable solutions to research, development and innovation for sustainable agriculture in the Coastal Plains to the benefit of the Brazilian society. CPATC is the former name of the original acronym Embrapa Coastal Tablelands: Centro de Pesquisa Agropecuária Tabuleiros Costeiros Agricultural Center Coastal Plains.
