CNPS stands for Embrapa Soils Embrapa Solos. Its mission is to enable solutions to research, development and innovation in soils and their interaction with the environment, aiming the sustainability of tropical agriculture. CNPS is the former name of the original acronym Embrapa Soils: National Research Center of Soil Centro Nacional de Pesquisa de Solos.
