CPAFAP stands for Embrapa Amapa. The Amapa Embrapa's mission is to enable solutions for the development of the rural areas in the State of Amapá region of the Amazon Estuary, focusing on the sustainable use ecosystems, through the generation, adaptation and transfer of knowledge and technology, benefit of various segments of society. CPAFAP is the former name of the original acronym Embrapa Amapa: Centro de Pesquisa Agroflorestal do Amapá Center for Research in Agroforestry Amapá.
