CNPUV stands for Embrapa Uva e Vinho Embrapa Grape and Wine. Its mission is to enable solutions to research, development and innovation for sustainable viticulture (wine growing) and fruit growing in temperate climates, for the benefit of the Brazilian society. CNPUV is the former name for the original acronym Embrapa Grape and Wine: Centro Nacional de Pesquisa de Uva e Vinho National Research Centre for Grape and Wine.
