CPAFRO stands for Embrapa Rondonia. Its mission is to facilitate solutions to research, development and innovation for sustainable agriculture in the Amazon, with emphasis in Rondônia, for the benefit of Brazilian society. CPAFRO is the former name of the original acronym Embrapa Rondônia: Centro de Pesquisa Agroflorestral da Embrapa em Rondônia Research Center of Embrapa Rondônia Agroflorestral.
