GRIN stands for Germplasm Resources Information Network, an institution that aims to support projects of the U.S. government related to plant germplasm, animal and microbial. Provides researchers, access to databases for maintenance of passport, characterization, evaluation, inventory and distribution data for the management and use of germplasm banks.
