Base collection

Extensive collection of accessions conserved in the long term. The ideal collection base should contain representative samples of GP1 (cultivated and wild), GP2 and GP3 culture. The entire collection is seen as a security strategy, housing its collection in the active duplicated collection, and their materials are not used for exchanging. The existing base collections are all composed of orthodox seeds.[1]
