1. Edible part of a plant, often containing seed(s) and pulp,in the most varied forms: a banana, avocado, and pumpkin are fruits.
2.Botanic developed ovarian and accessory parts of flowers from the vegetables that contain seeds after fertilization, such as the pit and the pulp of a peach or pod and its peas.
3. Product or harvest crops: the fruits of the earth.
