Cenargen (English)

Cenargen stands for Embrapa Genetic Resources. Embrapa Genetic Resources and Biotechnology contributes decisively to the development of a balanced and environmentally sustainable agriculture in the country, as it integrates activities of genetic resources, biotechnology, agriculture and pest management, and specific actions to defend agriculture. Cenargen is the former name of the original acronym Embrapa Genetic Resources and Biotechnology: National Center for Genetic Resource.
