Collecting
1.Planned act to obtain living material (germplasm) and dried plants for further treatment, identification and conservation Bank or germplasm collection and in the case of dried plants, herbal. 2.In plant genetic resources, the act of collecting germplasm of agricultural crops, from related wild species with scientific and economic interest, whether in the form of seeds, vegetative parts or the individual transplanted. 3. In botany, the act of collecting branches, plant parts or individuals of their natural habitat, press them into newspapers, dry them in specific greenhouses and incorporate them into herbaria.
