CPAO stands for Embrapa Western Agriculture Embrapa Agropecuária Oeste. The CPAO's mission is to facilitate solutions to the sustainability of agriculture in Western Brazil, through research, development and innovation for the benefit of society. CPAO stands for the former name of the original Western Agriculture: Centro de Pesquisa Agropecuária Oeste Western Agricultural Research Center.
