CNPAB stands for Embrapa Agrobiology. Its mission is to develop research in different areas of advancement of knowledge, however, its main focus of research is in the process of biological nitrogen fixation (BNF) and organic farming areas. Which endeavors to continue to be recognized in Brazil and abroad for its excellence in technical and scientific contributions and technologies generated in these areas. CNPAB is the former name of the original acronym Embrapa Agrobiology: Centro Nacional de Pesquisa de Agrobiologia National Research Center for Agrobiology.
