CNPM stands for Embrapa Monitoramento por Satélite National Research Center of Satellite Monitoring. Its mission is to enable solutions to research, development and innovation based on geotechnology and geoinformation, and land management for sustainable agriculture. CNPH original stands the former name of the NMA: Centro Nacional de Pesquisa de Monitoramento por Satélite National Research Center of Satellite Monitoring.
